About the Role
The Learning Experience – Oak Creek is hiring an Early Childhood Lead Teacher to oversee our preschool classroom. We are seeking a caring, motivated educator who is excited to support children ages 3–4 through hands-on learning, meaningful interactions, and a structured play-based curriculum.
This is a great opportunity for a Registry-qualified teacher ready to take on a leadership role in a high-quality childcare and early learning environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a preschool classroom while maintaining a safe, organized, and developmentally appropriate environment.
- Deliver The Learning Experience curriculum to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to assistant teachers.
- Communicate daily with families, offering updates on learning milestones and classroom experiences.
- Ensure adherence to Wisconsin DCF regulations, licensing standards, and center safety expectations.
Required Qualifications

Wisconsin Registry Level 7 or higher required.

Director Qualified (DQ) preferred.
- Prior experience in a licensed childcare or preschool program.
- Strong understanding of DAP (developmentally appropriate practices).
- Reliable, collaborative, and committed to early childhood excellence.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
